Bismark
was known as Uncle Buddy by other members of the family. He and
Lillie were big belivers in education and music. Bismark and Lillie
moved back and forth between Austin and Lexington to insure a good
education for their six children. Bismark managed the Hester Estate
and helped manage the Dowdy and Engelhart Stores in Lexington until
the time of his death.
Bismark was killed in a car wreck, on Wednesday evening.
Frank Parker, Bismark and Lillian were going to prayer services,
when Mr. Parker ran a stop sign on the loop in Lexington and the car
was hit by a large truck hauling cattle.
